The Senegalese foreign minister and UN officials visited the construction site of the UN office building in Senegal. Mr. Thiam, General Manager of the partner, Qi Pan, Deputy General Manager of Senegal Zhengwei and Zhang Weihua, Chief Engineer of the project received the visitors.

Mr. Thiam reported the project progress and the functions of project areas to the minister. The UN office building is a highly intelligent modern office building. Despite the impact of Covid-19, the constructors made concerted efforts to overcome all hardships to advance the project steadily. The project is expected to be delivered in March 2022 and the first group of UN officials will move in between May and June.

The minister was satisfied with the standardized operation, tidy construction site and outstanding appearance quality of the project and especially its normal progress amid the epidemic control.
