On January 14, the Senegal BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) project which our company participated in officially opened in Dakar, the capital city. Macky Sall, Senegalese President, Xiao Han, the Chinese Ambassador to Senegal and relevant personnel from participating units attended the ceremony.

President Sall stated at the ceremony that the BRT system will ease the traffic pressure in the capital, shorten the commute time from the outskirts of Dakar to the city center, and effectively improve urban transportation. It is an important step for Senegal towards modernization, and will provide more than 1,000 jobs for the local community.

This project is the first BRT line in Senegal and one of the key projects of the "Revitalizing Senegal" plan. Our company has built an area of 64,000 square meters of maintenance center, including two three-story administrative buildings, a three-story parking building, and a partially two-story maintenance workshop, with a total construction area of 14,788.33 square meters.
